Does Reincarnation play a role in our lives?
It is said that that which we sow so we reap, and for everyone action there is a reaction. If this is
the case then everything that happens in our present lives tends to be a consequence of our past actions. Then there is no questioning why these things are happening to me and not someone else. For we are the sculptor of our own destiny and only we determine the outcome of the path chosen for us.
When we doubt or fear and are not able to overcome that which prohibits our spiritual growth , we thus have not accomplish the task put upon us in this life. No one comes into this life chosen at random to be; rich, poverty stricken, disabled etc, if they did not have to learn something in their next life . Nor does anyone come into your life by coincidence. Most of the people that come into our lives come to teach us something or we come into their lives to teach them something .
What is the aim of the incarnation of spirits?
"It is a necessity imposed on them by God, as the means of attaining perfection. For some of them it is an expiation; for others, a mission. In order to attain perfection, it is necessary for them to undergo all the vicissitudes of corporeal existence. It is the experience acquired by expiation that constitutes its usefulness. Incarnation has also another aim, namely, that of fitting the spirit to perform his share in the work of creation; for which purpose he is made to assume a corporeal apparatus in harmony with the material state of each world into which he is sent, and by means of which he is enabled to accomplish the special work, in connection with that world which has been appointed to him by the divine ordering. He is thus made to contribute his quota towards the general weal, while achieving his own advancement."
Is incarnation necessary for the spirits who, from the beginning, have followed the right road?
"All are created simple and ignorant; they gain instruction in the struggles and tribulations of corporeal life. God, being just, could not make some of them happy, without trouble and without exertion, and consequently without merit."
But it so, what do spirits gain by having followed the right road, since they are not thereby exempted from the pains of corporeal life?
"They arrive more quickly at the goal. And besides, the sufferings of life are often a consequence of the imperfection of the spirit; therefore, the fewer his imperfections, the less will be his sufferings. He who is neither envious, jealous, avaricious, nor ambitious, will not have to undergo the torments which are a consequence of those defects."
For as long as we dettach ourselves from the material world and remember - "Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful."(Udana-Varga 5,1 ). We are in the right path.

La Mer Restaurant
http://www.halekulani.com/
Funny how I found out about this restaurant. I dreamnt I was going there with friends. And here it is for all o enjoy.
Halekulani's hotel's finest and Hawaii's only Five Diamond Restaurant of french cuisine. A restaurant that lives up to its name and standing. Not only do you have a most spectacular view
but the food and ambiance are superb.
For those who have been to Hawaii and have visited La Mer know what I mean. The rest like myself , who someday will visit Hawaii will definitely have this place in the list of places to see and visit.

Chavez's Venezuela
I have seen his show on the Venezuelan channel on cable just a little bit. It's torture how Venezuelans have this man conducting his own show (Alo Presidente- or Hello President) copying a show already in existence in Venezuela (Alo Ciudadano- Hello Citizen) geared to confronting the problems of the Venezuelan people and offering solutions. The man has a show of several hours speaking continues nonsense to the country. And regardless of what the students have done to prohibit control of the universities and others alike, Chavez has managed to sway those that didnt have anything and settled for so little.
Unfortunately many believe promises at the beginning and then when they finally see the light it tends to be too late. May Venezuela survive, because Chavez is going nowhere. Not now, and not in 2012.
This is emminent when the elections were held for governors and mayors winning in high numbers against Chavez's party and people were kidnapped, thus Hugo Chavez's party trying to stop any progress from the opposition. Regardless of the fact that these posts do not control the government and only serve to provide better services and things for the people.
One will just have to wait and see where everything ends. Although oil is still a very hot commodity for Chavez, money those eventually run out if you keep spending and spending trying to buy allies and friends and not help your country that has so much to produce and yet
is becoming more restless and angry as the days pass by.
